Update.

Well... I am just over 3 weeks away from meeting little dude. Sooner if he should so decide. I'd be ok with that. I am SO READY! Here are some of the latest happenings....

Mabelle threw a cute and fun and much appreciated "Surprise Baby Shower" in my honor. The theme was "Hooray for Chrissy." Very appropriate. The shower for the first kid should be about the kid. Any showers for kids after the first should be about the mom.... mostly b/c being pregnant is not a barrel of monkeys. Don't make me list the things that suck about it. I am NOT one of those women that love being pregnant. I just don't get that mentality. Other than the awesome kid you get at the end of the journey... everything else pretty much blows.

My awesome co-workers also threw me a "surprise" shower... it was truly a surprise and surpriseingly I was ok with it (I don't typically ENJOY surprises where I am not prepared for the event). Mabelle's surprise was a surprise up until the moment Tony had to tell me to shower and get dressed up a bit b/c there was a surprise for me. But this work one? I walked right into the surprise... big FUN and also very much appreciated.

Nanny is working out well. There have been some adjustments to be made and some getting used to this or that... but overall she's a keeper.

I am ready for little dude to arrive. All things are set and now it's just a waiting game. I have a slight suspicion he might come early.... but then again I thought dude was going to be early and wouldn't you know it he came RIGHT when he was suppsed to.
