so... a little bit of a holiday wrap-up... well, at least a Christmas "wrap-up" {no pun intended, really}. So we (Tony and I) went to dinner with John and Mabelle... we did our gift exchange... I got an NYU sweatshirt... I've been wanting one since I went to NY and never had the opp to go there to pick one up. Since Mabelle went there, it was cool that she got me one... and she actually got it at NYU... not some internet site. I got her some (in my opinion) cool plates from Pottery Barn (so cool, that I got myself some too... that's how it is for me at Christmas time... I find something for someone and then I want it too... ugh!) I also made her some of the b&w animal prints on little canvases... I guess those are really for Dally... but... still....
Since Tony and I are giving each other a "Master Suite" we didn't want to go nuts for Christmas, so we set a limit. I thought that was fun... to stay within a limit and all. Anyway... I got some fun goodies, including the re-release of U2's Joshua Tree. I also got some p.j's and some crayon pencils... I got him a baseball autographed by Tony Gynn and a "home" door mat. See? Fun!
It was hard to be at work the 3 days after Christmas... ugh... it was downright painful... but the weekend finally got here and now it's over. Where does the time fly?
We went to Dally's Baptism today. I swear he is the best dressed kid I've seen next to Suri. When you compare his gown to that other kid's at the church... I felt really bad for the other kid b/c his gown looked so cheap and gross. I know that is such a mean thing to say, especially about a baby... but it's the truth. I will post pics of that soon. The gown was BEAUTIFUL Emma. Good job! And then the reception to follow... a real class act!
I work tomorrow... but am looking forward to Tuesday where I will spend a big chunk of my day making samples for a possible client for cotton candy paperworks. Wish me luck.
