and to think that teenagers think that high-school geometry is a waste of time! ha! my proudest achievement this weekend was calculating to the nearest half roll of sod for our little patch of grass in the backyard. i blame that half roll on the fact that every roll is probably not exactly the same size, and that I probably could've done a better job of making the pieces exactly flush against eachother... but, regardless... can you get better than that? it's so nice to see a real, green patch of grass in the backyeard, better known as the Przeworski desert. I literally had tumbleweeds blowing around there last summer. that and i'm almost done with my ME book... ahhhhh.... life....
