ohhhh jeez... puhleeeze...

I know, I know, it's been WAY TOO LONG since I posted last and I am sorry about that. Nothing like a BLOG AWARD to get you to finally update your blog! So, thanks to Jodi Popp Thornton over at The Thorntons, I am a "When Life Hands You Lemons" recipient.

The rules for this award are simple:
Thank the giver of the award and link their blog.
List 5 things about yourself.
Link 5 new recipients and notify them. So......here we go! 5 things about me........

1. I served in the US Navy and now that I'm out a little part of me actually misses it. If I were still in I'd be in Haiti right now helping... and that would have been a good thing.

2. I have a master's degree in Marriage, Family and Child counseling... I work as an inventory manager at a restaurant chain. Go figure.

3. I know Jodi because we were roomates at MSU and we finally reconnected after about 20 years. Oh, and I am a HUGE U of M fan. Go figure.

4. I never in a million years would ever think that I would suffer from a post-partum issue. I love kids, I've always loved kids, I've been a nanny, I've worked on a post-partum ward, I know how to take care of kids.... yet... I suffer from post-partum anxiety (WTF?) and it's awful.

5. Despite #4, we are officially trying for a second child. God help me, please.

The 5 new recipients are:

Oh Baby the Places You'll Go
Wine and Cheese Please
A yet to be re-named "The Dally Files"
Postpartum Progress
Fuck You Penguin

I'd give one back to Jodi at The Thorntons... but I want to spread the love...

Thanks for the award, I think..... wish I were not a worthy recipient!
So excited for you that you're officially trying for #2. I know it's early days still, but so far I'm finding the second one to be a completely different experience so perhaps the PPA thing will all be in the past soon. I hope so!
XOXOX & thanks again!
