This year's US Open has been very exciting. My new favorite player is Melanie Oudin. She's almost 18 and the newest firecracker on the tour. She is AWESOME. If you've seen her play you'll know why I say that. She made it all the way to the quarterfinals this year. Next year, she'll win it!!!

I heart her too! I was so disappointed when she lost, but what an amazing run. Pretty down to earth kid too. Was happy to see Serena go out with a bang last night- she totally deserved to default that match, even if it was a terrible call by the lineswoman.
Glad to see that there is someone out there who has been loving the US Open as much as I have!
