Here is a snapshot of my book. Basically I listed my resolution and then I tracked it somehow. It was interesting and fun ti see it to completion.
The word on the street is that resolutions are out and "to-do" lists are in. I also heard the resolutions are being replaced by wish-lists.
Here is a stab at my "to-do/ wish list" for 2009:
- Have a baby, continued.
- Get back into shape immediately, starting with walking 6 out of 7 days a week... building up to running at least 4 days a week.
- Raise a happy and healthy boy, focusing more on memories and experiences than material possessions, while avoiding the extreme pressure of being smarter than or bigger than, or _______ than the next kid. As long as my dude is smart, has good manners, has a good personality, is kind and is having FUN... I don't care if the next kid is better at all of the mentioned... there's ALWAYS someone better, faster, smarter, richer, etc... so why the pressure?
- Become thriftier, save more money (as in using coupons and finding good deals)... since I am a SAHM now... I have to do my part.
- Start painting more... put more things on Etsy...
Please share YOURS... won't you?
On another note... The Bachelor starts tonight... yippee!!! I love this sort of trashy t.v. I felt so bad last season when Jason got the total rejection at the finale... all I can say is HA to Deanna... since she and her boarder dude have already broken up... duh... what did she expect?

Way to go on your 2008 resolutions...and good luck on the 2009 ones. :) I finished my T25DOC yesterday before work. That was my resolution. To finish my book. Yay! :)
Hey..hi...updated my blog after 6 weeks!
Good about your resolutions. However, I will suggest, take your 6 weeks of post partum and don't do anything you don't have to. I still feel sore some days and oh the tireness...holy cow, having a baby gives tired a new meaning.
Good luck with your delivery and I will look forward to hearing your story. :)
You mean there IS someone smarter than me? God, that really screws up my 2009 to-do list. Just kidding (but only sort of). I'm using that "Good Book" from Creative Escape as my giant To Do List for 2009 book/planner. Here's a sneak peak at a few items on the list:
*Update my blog regularly
*Finish the picture book!
*Launch DallyBoy.com :)
*PURGE, PURGE, PURGE
