Lazy days of October

I am beat! I worked my dupa off yesterday and in return my body says F@#% you... so I did a lot of nothing today. I'm cool with it. However, I say this to my body... today you rest, tomorrow you get back on the saddle bitch. According to my pregnancy book, I have exactly 8 days until my third trimester starts... and from what I hear... that is a trimester full of being tired and grumpy and uncomfortable, etc. So, I have 8 days to get things done around here. I have two closets left to clean (from the sanding mess of getting the floors re-done), some stripes to paint on a wall, some furniture to put back (from the floor project) and some MAJOR organizing to be done, which can't be started until the garage is void of all my furniture, etc.

The Nike Woman's Marathon (and 1/2 marathon) is this weekend. I leave for San Fran on Friday and return on Monday. I get Tuesday to recover from jet lag (ha ha) and then I leave for Michigan after that. My friend Tina is throwing me a little baby shower on Thursday (of next week) and then I have a wedding to go to that Saturday. A jam packed week.

When I get back I have a project for all of us to work on... are you up for it? We will all play together, so it will be fun to share what we all come up with, etc. I will tell you more about it when I get back. All you need is a camera for now... the rest of the details I will work out between now and then. Are you in? If so, leave me a comment and I will send you a small stack of supplies to get you started... don't worry... it's EASY and I will help you!!!!

Oh, what are you all going to be for Halloween? Please share.

I'm in for the project, have fun on your trips, and we've got nowhere to go for Halloween, so we won't be dressing up. Lon will be working and I might pick up some hours to avoid trick-or-treaters...don't see many little kids around here anyway and I got nothing for some obnoxious teens trying to get free candy. Aren't a ray of sunshine? :) Have a great week and don't be too hard on your body...it's working for two!
Take care,
Rachel

Don't dispare over the 3rd trimester yet- you may feel more beautiful and energetic than you have in a long time. Or you may feel like shit- who knows. Just try to think positively and continue to enjoy the full experience! Try not to overdo it though- wait for Tony to get home for the moving furniture for sure.
Are you actually running/ walking the 1/2 marathon this year? Go Christine! I'm so impressed!
Sounds like you've got a lot of fun stuff on the schedule- don't forget to find some time to rest.
I'm totally in for the mystery project- just let me know what to do.
No ideas for my halloween costume yet but Ally is going to be a pumpkin!
