It's the middle of July, already???

A lot has been happening around here. My mom was supposed to hang out with us for 6 weeks, saving us some cold hard cash for daycare, but that plan blew up a little. Dude is still in daycare until August 3rd. Then (angels singing) the NANNY STARTS! Yes, you heard me right. We are going to have a full-service NANNY living with us. I like to refer to her as the "oh-pear!" It will be so nice to not have to battle traffic to and from daycare to and from work. I can zip straight home to see my little pumpkin.

What else? Our trip to Michigan was a whirlwind. The dude handled it ALL like a champ.

Airplane ride to: Champ.
Three hour time change: Champ.
Various relatives (strangers) wanting to hold and kiss him: Champ
Airplane ride back: Champ
Three hour time change: Champ.

It's official. I have a new travel partner. (Sorry Mabelle).

I am 28 weeks preggo and in this heat (CA is having a heat-wave as of late) is KILLING me! I am SO exhausted and I still have 12 weeks to go. UGH!

This past weekend we participated in a 48-hour movie marathon. Meaning I actually had a part in a movie and Tony was the sound guy. Greyson just had to hang out on set and be cool. I'm sure this is exactly how Tori Spelling does it all. Needless to say, all three of us were comepletely exhausted yesterday. It wiped us OUT.

Did I mention how tired I am?

I wish I were doing THIS

(Greyson sleeping on the plane on the way home to CA- yes, he scraped his nose on the sidewalk. Chasing a dog he tripped and fell... ouch!)

OK folks... that's all I have for now. I'm so tired I can't remember my name.

Until next time...

oh, a favor please. A "blog-friend" of mine shared some pretty sad news... can you all hug a child a little extra today? They truly are little, walking miracles!

5 days from today I was SUPPOSED to be seeing these guys...

but instead I'll be grocery shopping or something else equally un-cool.

Poor Bono hurt his back and all North American concerts are postponed until 2011. Man, we are getting old!

Check out this link. There is a U2 quiz on there too... http://www.parade.com/celebrity/hollywood-wire/2010/05/25/bono-back-injury-pushes-u2-tour-to-2011.html

I'm not dead.... yet.

Ahhh... I'm baaaaaccckkkk! Can't guarantee for how long... I will try to update more regularly than 2 months... it's a start.

What I'm doing:
  • work, full time now, permanent, with benefits (that was big for me, 1 less thing to be anxious a bout)
  • love above new job
  • hang with Mr. Man
  • recently went to Las Vegas for Easter to hang with the parents. Had fun.
  • went and got me-self knocked up. New person is due October 15th or so.
What I'm not doing:
  • running or walking on a regular basis. Yes, I walk to the refrigerator or run to the bathroom, but no "long" walks every Saturday like I used to. I should really get back into that.
  • any crafting, whatsoever. Who's got the time?
  • stressing over this pregnancy like I did with the first one. I mean, I take care of myself and all... but I'm taking it all in stride, no worrying about every little thing.
  • breathing through my nose. Freaking pregnancy induced congestion has hit me hard!
What I'm watching:
  • New Adventures of Old Christine
  • Modern Family
  • The Middle - strictly for the whispering kid
  • Army Wives
  • Grey's
  • Private Practice
  • Desperate Housewives
  • Tori & Dean- Home Sweet Hollywood
  • Housewives of New York
What the future holds:
  • I turn 40 soon. OMG. 40. When I was young, 40 was almost dead!
  • I hope to compete in the Nike 1/2 Marathon for the 7th straight year this year. The race is on October 17th. New person is due October 15th. You do the math.
  • When new person arrives, the whole kit and kaboodle will be handled differently this time. I will IMMEDIATELY start taking my drugs again. I mean the second that baby pops out, my outreached hand will be demanding Prozac and Ativan. My mother will be living here for at least 3 months. And I vow to get more sleep right off the bat.
  • How in the hell will I be able to take care of a new born AND a toddler? OMG.
So, that's the update. Hope it holds us over for a little bit.
